Perfect location personally for me on this Christmas Eve. In 1975 as a 12 year old child living in Munich my brother and I were extras in an Opera at the Gaertnerplatztheater. Imagine my surprise at such a time as this.

I used the map to pan south and found 17 Wikinger Strasse where we lived at the end of the drive way, at the end far end of the building from the street on the first floor. Really close to the school we attended. For year I've looked at maps of Munich trying to find home...I found home...Thank You Very Much!!!
Yes I am, Thanks and hope same to you. I installed Google Earth and looked all over the area. Hospital, Baseball Fields, S bahn station, Fasangarten, McGraw Kasern with freeway running through lower level. Very exciting, we lived there when they built that freeway through pearlacher forest. So many memories. I want to return and take a picture of that bottom floor/end apartment we lived in.
I called my mom on Christmas Day and told her all about it. Now I gotta find where we moved to in Augsburg. Are US Military bases still open in either city?
